10/100 Autosensing on Every Port
BayStack 60 Hubs automatically detect the speed requirements of all ports and assigns port speed automatically. Makes the migration from 10Mbps to Fast Ethernet quick and easy - no need to make changes in the wiring closet when PCs are upgraded to 100Mbps connections.

Internal 2-port Switch Connects 10Mbps and 100Mbps Users at High Speed
All BayStack 60 Hubs include internal switching between the 10BASE-T and 100BASE-TX segments. No additional network hardware is necessary to support fast connections between Ethernet and Fast Ethernet users.

Daisy Chain Capability
The BayStack 60 Hubs conform to Class II repeater rules, allowing 2 hubs to be connected in series for a single collision domain of up to 48 ports. Up to 2 hubs can be serially connected at a distance of up to 100m (328ft).

Front Panel MDI/MDI-X Port
Eliminates the need for cross-over cables when building a network. Inexpensive straight-through unshielded twisted pair (UTP) cables can be used for connections to other hubs, switches, and routers.

Per-port Auto-Partitioning
Disconnects a port that detects jabber (excessively long transmission), excessive consecutive collisions, or a single collision of excessive length. This enterprise-class feature protects your network from malfunctioning equipment that can slow down or stop data traffic.
