BuyerZone.com Design Contest

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY.

  1. How to Enter: To enter, submit your registration information and design pursuant to the instructions set forth on SitePoint.com, including, without limitation, in accordance with the applicable “Design Brief” and “Guidelines for Designers” provided.  All entries must be received within the specified contest period.  Multiple entries and joint entries are permitted, but only one prize shall be awarded. No responsibility is assumed for late, lost, damaged, incomplete or misdirected entries.
  2. Entries:  All entries for which a prize is awarded and accepted by entrant become the sole property of BuyerZone.com, Inc. (“Sponsor”).  By entering, entrants:
    1. agree to abide by these rules,
    2. warrant and represent that their entry is their original work and does not infringe on any third party rights or violate any laws, and
    3. agree to indemnify Sponsor in connection with any breach of the foregoing warranty and representation.
  3. Judging:  All eligible entries received will be judged by a qualified panel of judges selected by Sponsor.  Judging of entries will take place pursuant to the schedule and in accordance with the criteria set forth on SitePoint.com with respect to this contest.  The judges will be qualified to apply the above standards to the entries in determining the win­ner. The decisions of the judges with respect to the selection of the winner, and in regard to all matters relating to this contest, shall be final.  The winner will be notified by email within seven (7) days following the end of the contest.
  4. Eligibility:  Contest is open to persons 18 or older at the time of entry.  Employees, and members of their immediate families living in the same household, of Sponsor or SitePoint.com or their parents, subsidiaries, affiliates and their advertising, promotion and production agencies, are not eligible to enter.  Void where prohibited by law.
  5. Prize: Single payment of US $500.  If two or more persons jointly submitted an entry, such persons shall be responsible for allocating the prize money among themselves, and a payment by Sponsor of the full amount to any one such person shall satisfy Sponsor’s payment responsibility with respect to all such persons.
  6. General:  Winner must sign and return an affidavit of eligibility and liability/publicity release within fifteen (15) days of prize notification attempt, together with Sponsor’s form of design contract and a tax certification form W-8 or W-9, as applicable, or an alternative winner may be selected. By accepting a prize, each winner grants to Sponsor the right to use his or her entry, name, likeness, hometown, and biographical information in advertising and promotion in all media without further compensation or permission, except where prohibited by law.  All expenses, including taxes, on receipt and use of prizes are the sole responsibility of the winners. By accepting a prize, winner releases Sponsor, its parent, subsidiaries, affiliates, subsidiaries, suppliers, and agents from any and all liability for any loss, harm, damages, cost or expense, including without limitation property damages, personal injury and/or death, arising out of participation in this Sweepstakes or the acceptance, use or misuse of the prize.
  7. Winners’ List:  To learn the name of the winner(s), send a self-addressed, stamped envelope within ninety (90) days following the end of the contest to:  BuyerZone.com, Attn: Winners’ List, c/o Peter De Jong, 225 Wyman Street, Waltham, MA  02451 or send an email to pdejong@buyerzone.com with the subject line “Winners’ List.”
