After all, if your food is not delicious no one's going to want to pay you to feed them at events.

Absolutely, if you already know how to cook you can get all of your education online. When choosing what catering school you wish to attend you should look at all the different online catering schools available and find one that offers classes that make the most sense to you. You should look for a good mix of business, client relations and food management classes to help get you started in the right direction.
Obviously since you are just starting not all of the classes will make sense from the get go, however with enough time you will soon see why all of these courses are necessary and how they will make you a more successful caterer. One thing to keep in mind however is that once you start an online catering program you probably want to stick with that program to its fruition. It can be very difficult to transfer class credits online if not downright impossible.
