Please Note:
  • This request for quote form is intended for business, education, and non-profit organizations interested in CNC routers.
  • CNC router prices generally begin around $5,000 and will vary upon your desired preferences.
1. How many CNC routers do you need? *
2. Do you want a new or reconditioned router? * ?
You can purchase refurbished CNC routers for 25% to 30% below the cost of a new machine. Vendors clean up the routers, replace worn or broken parts, and upgrade the controllers. They should also stand behind the work with a one-year parts and labor warranty. New CNC routers are more expensive but best if you use them frequently and depend on increased reliability.
3. What is your buying timeframe for your CNC routers? *
4. For what type of location do you need a CNC router? * ?
CNC routers can work with sheets of wood, plastic, rubber, acrylics, or non-ferrous metals like aluminum. Professional craftsmen use CNC routers for furniture design, circuit board manufacturing, plastic and foam fabrication, and education.
5. What type of CNC routers are you interested in? * ?
Most small to medium businesses use 3-axis CNC routers to cut patterns and shapes in three directions at once. 4-axis routers include an additional axis for more artistic carvings. 5-axis routers are very high-end machines featuring two additional axes for the boating, auto, and aerospace industries. For hobbyists, 2-axis routers are a cheaper alternative, but are not intended for industrial use.
6. What types of materials do you intend on shaping with your CNC routers? * ?
CNC routers don't cut all materials equally. Heavy wood like oak requires a faster and stronger machine than plywood or plastic that is very easy to cut through. If the material you cut is very thick, some routers may need to make multiple passes to get the job done.
(please check all that apply)
7. Do you require professional training services for your CNC routers? * ?
Most CNC router vendors offer comprehensive training as part of the purchasing cycle. They may be able to conduct training sessions at your offices so you and your staff can work on the machinery in familiar settings. Depending on your computer and design knowledge, training may only take a few days.
8. How do you prefer to finance your routers? * ?
Leasing is an attractive alternative for businesses that can't afford the high cost of CNC routers. Lenders can offer "lease to own" agreements that allow you to purchase the machine for a nominal fee once the term of the lease ends. However, if you can afford to pay for a CNC router up front, you can avoid paying finance charges.
9. What is your estimated budget for each CNC router? * ? Please note: CNC router prices generally begin around $5,000 and will vary upon your desired preferences. This question is intended to guide our suppliers towards the optimal CNC router solution based on your stated needs and budget.
A quality CNC router can cost tens of thousands of dollars or more. At the low-end, a basic 3-axis CNC router starts at $5,000 but you have to assemble it yourself with the help of training videos and manuals. Mid-range machines (for signage and panel processing) cost between $25,000 and $50,000. At the highest end, 4-axis and 5-axis routers for large industrial plants with heavy machinery needs can cost $50,000 to $150,000 or more. Keep in mind the additional costs of CNC ownership such as software ($2,500-$10,000), additional axis upgrades ($10,000 and up), shipping and transport ($350 to $3,000), and installation and training ($500-$1,000/day).
10. What is your zip code? * (We only serve U.S. businesses at this time.)
11. What is your email address? * (e.g. john@example.com)
12. Please briefly describe any additional requirements (such as specific engraving, carving, & milling capabilities) that you have for your CNC routers. [Optional] ?
How detailed do your cuts need to be? What kind of environment will you use your router in? Can your floors support a machine of this size and weight?
