"I currently only have 20 sales reps but will be at 150-200 by Feb 2008. I will run an average of 200 users & currently I am very limited on budget. I only need some basic reporting information. Product is not a long term relationship building type of product. I mainly want to know what things are added to funnel each month and what from that funnel has been sold. Info on contacts would be date added, contact name, business, phone number, city / state and maybe a little notes & that would be about it. I will just need to be able to pull reports to confirm if something is sold but not posted on company billing (so I can tell who to pay if a customer did not add a reps sales number). I also want to see what type of numbers are being added by our higher selling agents."

"Most of the software we see out there - like Goldmine - is waaaay more complicated than we need. Our needs are very simple. We just want to capture basic name/address/eMail/phone, a few details about where we met, a tickler or flag on a future date when we need to follow up with the person. That's pretty much it!Ideally the program would be web based so that we don't have to involve our freelance I.T. person to drive in to install it.ALSO, it would have to easily import our Excel database very easily, without us having to re-input the information into the contact management program."
