How does the BuyerZone free Request for Quotes (RFQ) service work?
BuyerZone's RFQ service is a quick and easy way to request a product or service quote online from multiple suppliers. The RFQ process saves you valuable time and effort in researching and evaluating vendors by allowing you to submit one simple RFQ form, and matching you to the most appropriate suppliers for your purchase. After your RFQ has been submitted and verified, a select group of BuyerZone suppliers - whose offerings most closely match your needs - will follow up with you directly (usually within 48 hours) to discuss your upcoming purchase.

What types of product and service categories are offered on BuyerZone?
Buyers can submit a free RFQ in more than 100 product and service categories, ranging from phone systems, copiers, payroll services and office furniture to forklifts, security systems and modular buildings.

How many suppliers will I hear from after I submit my Request for Quotes?
The number of suppliers to whom you are matched varies depending upon the category your select, product and service specifications you cite in your RFQ, and your location. On average, quote requests will be matched to 3-6 suppliers. We ask our suppliers to follow up with you directly within 1-2 business days depending upon when the RFQ was submitted. While we require that you include you phone number in your RFQ, you may specify your preferred method of contact (email vs. phone, etc.).
Steps for submitting a Request for Quotes:
In just a few steps, you can use BuyerZone's Request for Quote service to better determine your purchasing needs, compare supplier proposals and negotiate with multiple suppliers directly.
Choose a category. Select your product or service from the list of 100+ BuyerZone categories. If you need assistance researching or evaluating the particular product or service, we invite you to visit our online Business Purchasing Resource Center.
Complete the Request for Quotes form. Our Request for Quotes forms direct you through a series of simple questions about the product or service you need. We offer quick links throughout the form to clarify any unfamiliar terms.
Remember, the more detail you provide in your answers, the easier it will be for suppliers to provide complete and accurate quote responses.
Register. You must register with BuyerZone to submit a Request for Quotes. Registration requires that you provide your name, title, e-mail address, contact phone number, company name, size of company, location, and industry. We verify your information before your RFQ is submitted to ensure our suppliers receive qualified business quote requests only.
