You can download digital plan files from an online plan room, scan in your plans, or upload them from a CD-ROM, in many common types including PDF, TIF, GIF, JPG, BMP, and CAD formats. Once your digital plans are loaded into the program, just select the appropriate library or choose a cost item, and measure and/or count simply by using your mouse and create a takeoff by tracing a structure on your computer screen.
