Corporate Rate
The room rate given to business travelers, which is generally 15%-20% lower than published rates. Corporate rates are given rather freely to most corporate customers.

Preferred Rate
A rate that is individually negotiated by a travel agency based on the total agency bookings with the hotel. Preferred rates can be up to 40% off the published rates.
