Take our Daughters and Sons to Work Day

On April 27th we observed Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day by inviting a group of children to spend part of the day with us. They participated in several different projects designed to not only teach them about some of the career paths and business activities at BuyerZone, but to also make them think about careers they might like to have in the future.

In the different activities, the kids:

learned about our sales process by helping to find contact information and putting together a sales prospect list.
learned about marketing by helping to put together welcome kits and Office Moving Zone book packages for clients.
learned about the internet and web development when they helped design and add content to a web page.
learned about branding and marketing by making new logos for BuyerZone.

Lindsey

I want to be a Dentist when I grow up. I want help clean people's teeth and make them shiny.

My auntie has a neat job - she takes care of Maggie the dog.

I want to be a vet when I grow so that I can meet animals and make them feel better.

I like my teachers' jobs - they bring us lots of fun stuff to do and learn.

I want to be a Doctor when I grow up because I want to help people.

My grandpa fixes houses and he teaches my Dad how to use the tools.

I want to be a builder so that I can build houses for people to live in.

I think being a teacher is a neat job because they teach people lots of things to do.

My favorite web site is cartoonnetwork.com. I like it because it has a lot of really fun games on it.

I want to be a Lego designer when I grow up, because I think it would be a lot of fun.

My Dad has a really cool job in marketing at BuyerZone.

I think being a Web Designer is a neat job because they get to design web sites for other people to see.

My grandpa works for the Red Cross and he gets to help people after hurricanes.
