Real-world auto lift prices from BuyerZone buyers
We regularly survey BuyerZone users to ask how their purchases went. We've used their responses to provide a sampling of actual prices businesses paid for auto lifts.
10,000 pound capacity lifts are by far the most popular with BuyerZone users. A 10,000 lb. lift can be used for almost all cars and light trucks, making them useful for many garages, rental car shops, and even residential buyers.
Few buyers need heavier lifts, but for companies that need to maintain a fleet of heavy work trucks, the investment is worthwhile. You'll pay a premium to get that extra capacity, but if you have 11,000 pound trucks to service, it's a cost you'll have to absorb.
2-post lifts are generally less expensive than 4-post lifts – there's simply less steel and machinery involved. The differences between 2- and 4-post lifts pale in comparison to prices for in-ground lifts, though – you can expect to pay 300% to 400% more for an in-ground lift than you would for an above-ground model.
