is typically inexpensive.
Slitters
A type of letter opener that cuts through the top seam of the envelope. This model is more expensive
than chadder designs.
Feathering Cuts
This cutting style is offered by some letter opener models and prevents a person from receiving
painful paper cuts when emptying envelopes.
Joggers
A feauture that can be useful for settling the contents of an envelope and minimizing the chance
of having the tops of checks or other important materials sliced off.
