Quick tips
Get proof. Always, always ask the printer for a proof to check text, alignment, image
resolution, and if possible, color. See our accompanying checklist for things
to look for in a proof.
Whodunnit? Know who will be responsible in case you're not completely satisfied with
your print job - the printer, or (this is unlikely) the broker who put you in touch. Ask for
any service guarantees - all printers worth their salt will guarantee their work.
Order larger quantities. If you know you're going to be regularly reordering a particular
print job - stationery or brochures, for example - you can save a lot by printing a large quantity
of the job at one time. Of course, make sure you have the storage space to keep the inventory
until you need it.
