"I collect financial statements from clients, such as bank statements, brokerage statements, deeds, social security statemnets. For each client, I'd like to print a set of labels with the unique client ID 9(maybe bar code) and a few other indexing criteria: asset, income, transfer, closed (maybe bubble mark). I'd put the label in the lower left corner of each statement, scan it, and the software would index in on the label and put it into my MS Access database in the correct place. I would then use the database to print financial packets, etc."

"My business prepare taxes, so we wanted to electronically scan and store the customer documents and go paperless as much as we can. I might have about 2000 clients for the tax season, so lot of scanning and storage is done during the tax season and that is it. Our plan is to store the documents locally, but if there is a hosting model, I dont mind taking a look at it. Also, is there a way a customer can upload his remotely. I mean if this turns out way too costly, I might not need it. But was thinking if there are some remote customers, can I give them an access to upload their docuements and stuff.Also, keep in mind that I am a very small business person and was just trying to evaluate my options. so nothing fanciful as such :-)."
