It can serve as a standalone business fax first, but also offers organizations the ability to customize a machine to fit their own, specific document management needs. The FAX 9765's options allow for expandability - it easily can turn into a true multifunction machine.

• Standard fax features include a 33.6 Kbps modem that transmits and scans a page in three seconds, expanded auto dialer, quick scan, and instant dialing for fast business communication.
• Optional Unimessage.... Pro Multifunction Peripheral kits (single user or LAN) add a universal messaging solution to the FAX 9765, that integrates fax and email functions to allow copy, print, fax, and scan straight from the desktop.
• With the Pro Multifunctional Peripheral kits, it can function as a printer with eight pages-per-minute (ppm), at 600 dots-per-inch (dpi) output, OCR scanning, and PC fax sending and receiving for a single user or on the network.
• The FAX 9765's optional 500-sheet letter/legal paper tray triples its paper capacity to 750 sheets.
• A 30-sheet automatic document feeder lets users scan a document into memory, enter dialing instructions, and walk away - customers spend less time faxing and more time working.
