Bundling
The practice of combining products and services into a single package deal. Some less-than-honest salespeople say that you must buy all your office equipment consumables from the same vendor in order for your machine to work properly, but that isn't true.

Compatible or Generic Toner
A type of toner that is made for a specific model but is not manufactured by the original equipment manufacturer. Generic toner is often a very good bargain.

Counterfeit Toner
A low-grade toner falsely labeled as being made by the original equipment manufacturer. Some dealers and stores try to sell counterfeit toner at OEM prices.

OEM Toner
The type of toner that is manufactured by or for a specific equipment manufacturer. OEM stands for original equipment manufacturer.
