• I have not settled on a specific theme. It is our first anniversary and so I keep coming back to the same desire to have it be classy and elegant. For our Grand Opening we had a carnival style event. I'd like to make this a step up. And I do intend to sell tickets. I just want it to have a sense of simple elegance. We are a music education center. I want to ask some of my teachers to perform and possibly a few of our students.
• Offical" Ribbon Cutting" ceremony follow by grand opening of technical facility.
• Opening a flagship store.
• The only thing we do not need assistance with is food and beverages as the VIP party is for the opening of a new sandwich shop concept restaurant. This is a new franchise which is national and new to the Atlanta market. The major areas of help are marketing/advertising, invitations (which includes putting together a list of important and influential people in the community eg. Mayor and other officials as well as media coverage.
• This will be the grand opening party for our adult entertainment company. We need alcohol served at the party as well.
• We are completely refurbishing one of our buildings for LEEDS certification("Green") and would need the planner to follow that theme. This will be the grand opening party for the building and our tenants, real estate professionals will be invited as well as members of professional organizations to which we belong. It will be in conjunction with "Gilda's Club" charity. We want to make it a very special evening.
