The Chicago chapter requests proposal that provide event planning services from marketing to seminar class planning and evening networking events. Please send your proposal by June 15, 2008.

• In short, my business partner and I have started a mixed martial arts clothing line. This past weekend, we attended a MMA event and gave out free t-shirts as part of a buzz marketing campaign. We generated positive feedback and inquiry on our product. On June 7th, we are planning on having a launch party for our company. On this night, there will be a big pay per view show put on by the Ultimate Fighting Championship. We have secured a venue that not only attracts tourists in our city (Orlando, Florida), but shows UFC events for free. We figured this would be a great opportunity to further promote our company and products. Neither my business partner or I are skilled in the art of marketing (or securing sponsorships for that matter), so we are in need of help. Looking forward to hearing from you.

Anticipated meeting revenues from registrations and sponsorships are $400,000. Clients will be pharmaceutical companies, stem cell companies, laboratory supply companies, intellectual property attorneys and related professionals.
• The only thing we do not need assistance with is food and beverages as the VIP party is for the opening of a new sandwich shop concept restaurant. This is a new franchise which is national and new to the Atlanta market. The major areas of help are marketing/advertising, invitations (which includes putting together a list of important and influential people in the community eg. Mayor and other officials as well as media coverage.
• We are celebrating a brand new office and a new location. Guests are a combination of patients/colleagues and friends. It is impt. That this be a fun event full of marketing ideas and great attendance.
• We are looking to develop a relationship with an event planner, promoter and producer. Ideal candidates will be responsible for all aspects of scheduling, marketing, promoting and producing our events. We provide the intellectual property, training materials and speakers and everything on the back end.
