Park West is unique in the way we do our estimating and purchasing. We need to track everything at the item level from the estimate, through the tracking of the requests for quotes and vendors¿ quoted pricing which varies for each item by the job (buy-outs and PAR¿s) to what we purchase (qty and price) to what is installed on the job site and the remaining qty/$ to be installed with the labor component. Change Orders need to be tracked at this level of detail also through the pending and owner approval process to what was purchased specifically for that change order and what the gross margin is on each change order.
