EMR would start at registration, include documentation on patient HX, and allow for RX and doctors notes. One center opening up in next year and several others to follow over next few years.
• I run an urgent care facility where we see both traditional urgent care patients as well as occupational medicine patients. Low volume of 12-15 patients/day. Many patients return for follow up visits. Records also often sent to third party payers.
• Most tablet based Physician documentation of the patient encounter take more time than hand charting a system like T-Systems format. Most tablet pc formats take more than 2minutes to fill out....for our Urgent Care Setting we need to document the encounter in 2 minutes or less!!
• Need to be able to customize patient visit/problem oriented forms fro urgent care/ family medicine office
• Needs to interface or support document sending to outsourced billing company. Should support broad range of patient types from family practice to urgent care. The clinic also performs some Aesthetic procedures....needs to support that specialty.
