BuyerZone user comments: IVR system purchasing requirements
"This is for a phone dating service. I want customer to be able set up a user name and password to have access to the system. Then select different prompts to get to the selection of potential people that they want to meet and be able to leave those persons a voicemail. For the person to retrive the voicemails left, they would have to purchase access to those voicemails. I want the IVR system to be able to process credit and/or debit cards. I also want the system to recognize any entry mistake and direct the inquirer to re-enter correct information. I also want the sytem to be able to direct connect the caller to a person (that agrees to talk to the caller) who may also be on the system at the same time. I also want to be able for each member of the system to be able to form a personal profile and be able to leave a personal greeting to be played everytime a caller chooses that person according the category chosen. I also want to be able to review every greeting before it is authorized to be played on the system."

"Our company sells information "subscrip-tions" for a certain period of time. We need to be able to provide customers with codes to access pre-recorded messages for a limited period of time only, after which the access codes aren't any good unless the customer renews their subscription. We also need to be able to change the outgoing message on a daily basis, preferably from outside of the office."

"This system is going to be linked with a 900 number. Customer is going to call in and get a 5 digit pin from the IVR, which will already be preloaded into our web database. When the customer requests the pin online, we are going to know the only way they obtained this pin is via the 900 number, so we know they are a paying customer."

"I work for a consulting firm that collects and analyzes air quality data. We have a client – a state air quality department – that wants us to set up a toll-free number so residents of the state can call in and find out the current air quality in their area. We have the air quality database, but we’re not sure how we would connect this to a phone system and how to make it dynamically updateable."

"The requirements are very simple. The client will call into the toll-free number. They will use a preassigned id number to identify themselves and once verified they will be given the option to order 1 of 4 pieces of literature. Once they have ordered one they will given an option to order another (but not the same one again) or they can choose not to order any more, and the call will end. The information will then be sent via web interface or some other sort of data transmission to our production group who will fulfill the request."
