Real-world VoIP phone system rates from BuyerZone buyers
We regularly survey BuyerZone users to ask how their purchases went. We've used their responses to provide a sampling of actual prices paid for their Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) phone systems.
Several points to remember when pricing VoIP systems:
Installation may require an upgrade of your computer network (LAN, or local area network.) This can potentially add thousands of dollars to your overall costs.
One of the main benefits of VoIP systems is their ability to unite remote offices: branches and even telecommuters can get access to all the features of the phone system. However, simply installing a VoIP system does not give you the ability to make free phone calls outside your business.
Plan for the future. Buying a system with just enough capacity for your current usage can limit you in the future, so it's wise to consider your plans for growth before choosing a system.
Smaller systems
These systems range from 5 to 15 extensions. Note the additional expense for the first two businesses who needed to connect multiple offices.
