Aichi was founded in 1962 as a manufacturer and seller of lift vehicles. Aichi introduced its first aerial work platform in 1965. Since then, Aichi has worked closely with customers and listened to the challenges of the construction industry to develop new products. They have responded to the daily challenges in the field by manufacturing and selling lifts for several markets, including electric utilities, telecommunications, construction, cargo handling, shipbuilding and railroads.
With 15 existing Toyota Aichi dealers distributing high-quality Aichi Aerial Work Platform (AWP) products, the addition of 11 more dealers brings the total number to 26. Aichi, a Toyota Industries Company, carries a product line of scissor lifts, crawler and wheeled-boom lifts all designed specifically to meet a wide range of indoor and outdoor needs.
