BuyerZone partners with LeadsCouncil to create the First Annual State of B2B Lead Generation Survey.

NEW YORK, NY — (March 16, 2012) — LeadsCouncil announced today the launch of the First Annual State of B2B Lead Generation Survey in partnership with leading online B2B lead generation company BuyerZone. The survey, which is being delivered to B2B lead buyers across a number of industries, will examine lead generation practices, technologies being used by buyers, marketing budget expectations, the effectiveness of social media and more.

Pair developed innovative marketing plan for Kiva.org

WALTHAM, MA — (May 17, 2011) — BuyerZone, the leading online B2B lead generation company, announced today that two of its employees, Kathryn Angeloni and Natasha Yemelyanova, were named finalists in the inaugural 2011 Young Marketer "Team USA" competition, sponsored by USA TODAY and Microsoft Advertising. The duo competed against more than 30 teams from notable brands across the United States – including Johnson & Johnson, Toyota and General Mills – all vying for a chance to represent the United States against global marketers at the International Festival of Creativity in Cannes, France in late June. Contestants were invited to develop a digital marketing plan for Kiva.org, a non-profit organization and the world's first personal micro–lending website.

Angeloni and Yemelyanova's proposed marketing plan for Kiva focused on a number of key ideas, including:

  • My Ripple Effect – a unique way to visually demonstrate the impact of a single lender
  • A Facebook app to view loans, share and invite friends as well as a Facebook game, Kivaville, which would mirror the needs of real Kiva entrepreneurs
  • Customized Kiva gift cards to encourage easy and personal gift–giving
  • Strategies for increasing traffic and awareness of Kiva through video profiles of entrepreneurs, SEO visibility and optimization for mobile browsing

The experience of coming up with new and innovative ideas for a non-profit like Kiva was a rewarding experience. "We really enjoyed applying our 'day jobs' in online marketing to propose ways to increase awareness and ultimately membership for Kiva," commented Angeloni.
